I have an undergraduate degree (BA) from the University of Texas at Austin in German (do NOT ask when I was there, that's rude).  I have a graduate degree (MBA) from the University of Dallas in International Business. I attended the Universität Würzburg for one year and studied Economics. 

I worked for 18 years in industry for Texas Instruments, Sega and Tiger among others.  If I could tell you one thing it would be to learn a foreign language and watch your business options increase dramatically. 

Why did I leave business and start teaching?  To have a schedule that was easier on family life. Not fewer hours, as many people think, but more hours at home (planning, grading) and a vacation schedule which is compatible with my children.  I have been teaching for 5 years and enjoy it.

I have been married for 17 years - have a daughter, a son and a dog (they came pretty much in that order).
