Sites Related to Teaching a Foreign Language:

FLTEACH (http://www.cortland.edu/flteach/  This is a foreign language teaching foreign that offers a subscription to a listserv that connects foreign language  educators all over the nation.
ACTFL (http://www.actfl.org/) This is a link to the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.  The site contains links to a variety of resources and guidelines of the association.
CARLA (http://carla.acad.umn.edu/) The Center for Advanced Research on Language Aquisition studies mulitlingualism and multiculturalism.  They strive to develop knowledge of second language teaching and aquisition through conducting and sharing research projects.
UVA Foreign Language Instructional Technology Interest Group (http://www.virginia.edu/~asmedia/flitig.html)
This site is dedicated to the discussion and promotion of foreign language education.

Algunos Lugares En Espanol (http://www.kn.pacbell.com/wired/Algunos/index,html) This site gives you a great list of links to sites that could be incorporated into lessons.  There are links to Spanish newspapers, dictionaries, magazines, etc...
Center for the Study of Books in Spanish for Children and Adolescents (http://www.csusm.edu/campus_centers/csb/english/)
This link is dedicated to creating ties between organizations interested in meeting the needs of young readers.  It has a list of  recommended books and a search engine that gives you names of books after you enter in what ages and grades you are working with and what country you would prefer the book be from.
David Levin's Learning @ Web.Sites (http://www.ecnet.net/users/gdlevin/flanguages.html) This is a GREAT site!  It was created for senior high educators interested in using the Internet to improve their lessons.  It provides many useful links.
Juegos y canciones para los niņos (http://www.hevanet.com/dshivers/juegos) This site is full of resources.  It caught my attention because it had a number of games and songs that could be used in the classroom.
